@noelle thanks for the explanation, I set up a new instance 3 days ago and already got hit by this... Anyone got a hint for a newbie on how to mass delete those "followers" ?
@clerian Oof, sorry to hear that! To get rid of the spam followers that have already followed you, in Mastodon, go to https://wizzards.club/admin/instances and click to the blue "Add New Domain Block" button at the upper right, enter 'weedis.life' as the domain and pick Suspend as the severity.
There are a couple other tricks you can do if you have access to the command line, but I don't want to overwhelm you!
@noelle great! I'll do that! Good to know that I jus have to make the ban. Today I manually removed all the weedis.life domain followers from the database, not the most elegant solution I guess ;-)
