SCOTUS has ruled that the California FACT act - requiring fraudulent anti-abortion "crisis pregnancy centers" to disclose that they weren't licensed medical professionals - is unconstitutional because it's "forced speech" and violates the first amendment.

I 100% guarantee that within a year we'll see tobacco companies using this case to argue that the surgeon general's warning on cigarette packs isn't legal either.

@noelle People always seem to conveniently forget that no "right" is absolute -- because any absolute right exercised by one party invariably infringes on the rights of others.

Forcing sellers to be truthful (on pain of revoking all government services on which they depend) should be an automatic exception to the 1st amendment.
