Please, if you regularly engage with a person with memory issues and you notice them misremembering something, take care about how you correct them!
A thing I've legitimately had said to me was: "Which one of us has the bad memory?"
When a simple: "I remember it differently/as... (and feel free to clarify, that might help to jog their memory)."
and like, i get it, im probably being sensitive and i know this doesn't apply to every single person with memory issues but it cant hurt to be kinder in how you approach someone?
@wenom I agree strongly. I've had the "are you forgetting things again" thrown at me.
Though that specific moment was two sides of the same coin seeming completely disconnected and impossible to merge, while both were true.
