Went for a walk on our final day in Tuscany, Italy, 19 Oct 2024. Spotted this European Robin (Erithacus rubecula), Eurasian Blackbird (Turdus merula) and Afro-Australian Daisy (genus Dimorphotheca). Also caught the colours of autumn in the nearby town. Then off we go to Perugia in Umbria.

Had time for a morning walk at our hotel, Castello di Spaltenna in Tuscany, Italy on 18 Oct 2024. Spotted some wildlife like this Eurasian Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) and Willow Beauty (Peribatodes rhomboidaria). Also took shots of the countryside.

Some wild flowers spotted while truffle hunting and afterwards in the San Miniato area, Tuscany, Italy on 16 Oct 2024. A Dandelion (genus Taraxacum), Chicory (genus Cichorium) and Ivy-leaved Cyclamen (Cyclamen hederifolium).

After truffle hunting, we headed to San Miniato, Tuscany, Italy for lunch on 16 Oct 2024. We passed by a statue of the largest truffle even found. The meal at Pepenero Ristorante featured truffles and was delicious. The scenery was hazy due to the rain that day.

Castello di Spaltenna was the hotel for our stay in Tuscany, Italy, from 15 Oct 2024. It was formerly a monastery. Our room there was amazing. The first night there was clear, and I took a long exposure night shot, illuminated mainly by the moon.
