His country IS called eSwatini. He wants the rest of us to use the native name instead of the Anglicized name going forward.
This is (in form, not cultural context) like Spain's government asking the international community to call the country España from now on.
@noelle Nobody really bats an eye at Côte d'Ivoire (although that's a strange case imo, if only cause they chose the language of their previous colonial masters) so I'm not sure why this is a big deal?
