SCOTUS struck down the Louisiana law preventing a doctor from working in an abortion clinic if they didn't have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles, so expect another round of conservative meltdowns!

@[email protected] On the one hand, there have been some rulings lately that are good when we've feared otherwise. On the other hand, the reasoning in some of those is essentially, "Hey, I wanted to approve this but you crossed your 'I's and dotted your 'T's instead of vice-versa. Pass this again with dotted 'I's and I'll vote in favor of it." On the gripping hand, there's some schadenfreude to be had watching the meltdowns.

@noelle oh yes, meltdowns already... saw on twitter folks whining about how Robert's is not a "real conservative" anymore, and they've been betrayed and it's not the Supreme Court anymore, it's the "Kagan court"
