ICYMI: in , on the website ONLY - this feature has inexplicably not made it to the app with rare exceptions - when you click on a skill to start learning or practicing, you may see a "light bulb" icon.

Click that icon! It explains the concepts that the lesson will be teaching you!

Morning update: I said "with rare exception" because I know a few languages have it. The majority seem not to, and the three I'm trying to learn (Korean, Welsh, and Russian) definitely do not!

@noelle it's on the Android app at least... but only for some languages?

Chinese and Spanish have it but not Hebrew

@noelle I switched to #MangoLanguages through my local library (thus still free). I'm enjoying it much more than Duolingo.

@noelle on iOS this became a “tips” button instead of the icon, which was very confusing, but also it’s incredibly important info! I wish they just showed this screen the first time you tapped a new lesson
