As someone who grew up with Disney's 1973 "Robin Hood", it's weird to me that there's a whole generation of people who know (a sped-up version of) "Whistle-Stop" from that movie as "the Hampster Dance song".


Also, knowing Disney, it's also weird to me that Hampster Dance didn't get its ass sued off within microseconds of going online

@noelle for me, the Hampster Dance was at its peak when I was in college. During finals week. At 3am. Played on repeat by my fellow students as I tried to sleep before my finals.

Those were dark days.
