@starbreaker @noelle this is a SPICY thing to say but i am actually pissed at stephen king for taking Rage out of publication, because it's so relatable for angry kids

@amphetamine @noelle I read Rage when I was 13, and it was relatable as fuck.

However, I never got to the point where I was angry enough to bring a gun to school because every time somebody talked shit to me or laid a hand on me I would tear into them.

I didn't give a fuck about the rules. The only rule that I acknowledged was that anybody who fucked with me would fucking well suffer for it.

@starbreaker @amphetamine @noelle That wasn't an option for me, because I was nearly always the youngest and weakest kid in my class.
I know from my stepson's experiences that it works if you can do it though.
Like his solution to bullies has always been to give them lasting scars and he only ever had to do that once for each school he's been in.
