This just came up on my Facebook, but it turns out the original is from 2015, and I feel like it resonates even more now after #MeToo.
They suggest #CheckYourBoys and yes, yes! This is what y'all need to do. If you're in that privileged situation you need to be the one helping out the vulnerable people. And this isn't only for #feminism's sake, it goes for racism etc too.
I highly recommend this "Men Discuss Feminism and Gender Equality", and see what the say.
@maloki So, check your boys means: as a man one should check the behavior of the other men around, I guess not limited to but focused on friends and coworkers etc.? and does it include "discuss feminism (...)"?
I just don't really get it from the video :D
Anyway, I really like the idea of men talking about feminism like in the video. But in my experience there's much work to do before most men are able to talk about it with such sensitivity/awareness.
