but also to not ignore the severe depravity of a world like this. and to show how that shit actively effects the children main characters and how they're allowed to cry but warned that this is only the tip of depravity

@magicalmilly there are two kinds of people who watch FMA: those who focus on the cool alchemy fights and the conspiracy, and those who find all the subtext present in “there is no devil forcing them to do it.”

and covering it up with showy anime fights because that's easier to sell.
