@FirstProgenitor@sanguinem.spaceTestosterone being a controlled substance should be completely unacceptable and I am so frustrated people don’t talk about it more. As it stands, my testosterone is being withheld from me for the next 3 weeks for seemingly no reason at all, the systems saying it’s “state regulations.” If I have to go off T for that long o genuinely don’t know what I’ll do, but I fear even more for the trans people who have had their hormone producing organs removed, for whom not getting testosterone is infinitely more dangerous
@FirstProgenitor@sanguinem.spaceDespite the fact that I live in an informed consent state, I have still gotten gatekept over and over. Getting the script is not the hard part. Because I didn’t go to gender therapy for 3 full months to grovel at a therapist for a note, my insurance refuses to pay for any of my testosterone. I pay upwards of 350$ a month for my script.
