good morning, the reason you're infatuated with Japanese Neighborhood Aesthetic so much is because every picture you've ever seen has no on-street parking
speaking of, one of my favorite things to have on my big TV while i'm working/writing is train rides and walkthroughs in Japan.
here's a railway ride from Wakayama to Osaka:
and a particular favorite of mine, a rainy walk from tokyo station to Akihabara that makes me very nostalgic
they are very nice, comfy things to have on while you're trying to focus or relax.
@eightbitsamurai .....i don't know why i didn't notice it before, but you're absolutely right
@eightbitsamurai related: what is not on Danny The Street
@eightbitsamurai oh my god you're right
@eightbitsamurai I could fall asleep to something like this
@eightbitsamurai urbanist circles are talking about "car litter" these days; totally applies.
@eightbitsamurai whoa this is so true but also i'm a giant weeb
@eightbitsamurai their architecture has so much character
@eightbitsamurai Parking space is not really needed :)
@eightbitsamurai I feel the same way about Europe and their lack of overhead wires lining the streets.
@eightbitsamurai It's that, but it's also cozy: Small streets, small houses and nice materials
