@coriander excited for all the people who have been clamouring for a playable zelda for years to never play it because it’s a 2D action-puzzle game and not an open world cinematic adventure

@coriander oh yeah i mean 2D zelda is great and i’m sure it will be a fun game i just also know there is no way it is doing anywhere near the numbers of Breath of the Wild
it could be the best game ever made for the Switch and still never do anywhere near the numbers of Breath of the Wild, purely for genre reasons

@coriander the good news is that it was also definitely way cheaper to produce than Breath of the Wild
i think it will be fine; nintendo isn’t above making small-team, lower-budget, high-quality games to keep their IP fresh in-between blockbusters
