every once in a while i worry that i rushed into this too fast. that i decided this would be a quick fix to my self-esteem or whatever, would fix whatever part of me I hated, when in reality I just needed to learn to love myself.

but then i run into someone i haven't seen in a decade or so and they tell me how much better and happier i look and act and i know that this was the right way to learn to love myself

it feels like a switch got flipped and i went from cis dude to, boop, trans! and out to basically everyone i cared about! even the handful of months of questioning (and there weren't a lot!) were mostly "Am I allowed to do this?"/"Okay how do I do this"

god i really did fall into this whole transgender thing ass-backwards didn't i

i have tricked my friend into letting me turn her life into an RPG. now I send her on quests and give her experience points and items in return. I'm making her a character sheet that looks like an old Final Fantasy status menu to track everything, but it's got a bunch of extra spots for mechanics that I'm just not going to explain to her because that's funny to me.

just treat it as a space where you probably won't but totally could be overheard, which you should be doing anyway, and take anything weirder or more sensitive to a platform you actively know is secure
