just treat it as a space where you probably won't but totally could be overheard, which you should be doing anyway, and take anything weirder or more sensitive to a platform you actively know is secure

@Herringway twitter has corporate hierarchy and oversight and a huge enough number of people to make it feel like less of an issue to most people, I think.

@Herringway theoretically employees could get punished if they were caught looking at DMs without cause
In practice that's a lot of points of failure and a lot of assumptions and the only one that's kinda trustworthy is invisibility via anonymity in numbers.
