I've been fighting a sore throat since Monday's parent-teacher conferences.
"Canceling today's D&D games" sore.
It would likely not be this bad but I was introducing a new unit to my K-2 students this week and every 2-3 minutes another parent hopped in to ask me to explain all the steps again, and then on Tuesday and Wednesday I had students voluntarily staying after class to ask for more assistance with their projects.
You don't say no to requests like that, but my throat is paying for it now.
I will be drowning my sorrows in Skyrim, but I would rather be hanging out with my friends.
