@BestGirlGrace @Draekos it kinda makes sense that the intro describes raising the sun and moon as "unicorn magic" since it is like. a spell you cast with your horn or whatever? it doesn't actually call the princesses themselves "unicorns" i'm pretty sure
i got the impression that any unicorn could theoretically do it provided they're magically capable enough. so like, twilight probably could've done it in season one if she'd known how

@BestGirlGrace @Draekos those three friends of twilight who don't have names and that we never see again? they do have canonical names actually, and we do see them again
there's an episode in season five where twi goes "wait fuck i outright abandoned my friends from canterlot at the start of this show, i should go apologise" and so naturally said friends feature prominently

@BestGirlGrace @00dani yeah I know I'll forget but I'm also trying to mostly stick to only stuff we've seen so far. Partly because I know my memory of the show is extremely spotty, but also it's more fun that way to me.

also i think the grey postal worker horse should clearly be named "bubble wrap" tbh,, i don't particularly like the name you use in the podcast either for similar reasons to the other bad names

cuz like. the library has been here for years, and twi only just rolled into town,
i have no idea where the librarian who used to run the place went however
@BestGirlGrace @Draekos i mean presumably the previous librarian was still the current librarian during the first episode, since twi wasn't planning to move permanently? so they'd still have been running the library normally for at least that one day
but we don't ever see them and then twilight is the librarian instead
